5/9/2023 0 Comments Lust in Winter by Devi Ansevi![]() I found “Blood of Stone” was far more mythical and a bit darker in tone, with rather nightmarish creatures who had an intriguing life cycle. Devi struck me as having a very clear idea of her characters in their non-human form, and of their world. There’s a lot of story packed into this novella, which left me hoping more to come. “Captive Mate: A Gryphon’s Fated Mate Story” bounced along nicely. I enjoyed them all, some more than others, as I always find with an anthology. ![]() ![]() There are four stories in this anthology, “Captive Mate: A Gryphon’s Fated Mate Story” by Devi Ansevi, “Blood of Stone” by Jacqui Greaves, “Flights of Fancy” by Ina Morata and “Leonora: Marked by Demons” by Essemoh Teepee.Įach story is very individual and I thought they were all well-written and highly imaginative. ![]()
